Three years ago, the talented Armenian actor and singer Hayk Petrosyan created "Jazznavour," a musical project in tribute to the unforgettable Charles Aznavour. With boundless passion, he brought together four incredible musicians: Vahagn Hayrapetyan on piano, Arman Mnatsakanyan on drums, Dave Gyodakyan on double bass, and Daniel Melkonyan on trumpet. Together, they reimagined Aznavour’s greatest classics with a jazzy twist, bringing a fresh vibe to these legendary songs.
"Jazznavour" quickly won over hearts, with unforgettable concerts in Armenia and abroad, including in Lebanon and Russia. In 2022, the album "French Kiss" was released, receiving rave reviews and is now available on all platforms.
To celebrate the centenary of Charles Aznavour, "Jazznavour" is embarking on a world tour titled "Merci, Charles." Before the big concert at La Cigale on September 15th, Hayk and his musicians will make a stop at Le Baiser Salé to set the stage on fire with their vibrant and heartfelt jazz.
