Tribute to George Duke, keyboard genius liked to trace his first musical emotions to a Duke Ellington concert, which he attended at the age of four – specifying that he had few memories of it. He learned the piano while attending the baptist church in his neighborhood and began, as a teenager, to play in various groups, moving from jazz to the soul music of the early 1960s.
