Compositions from Christophe Wallemme's last four albums (Time zone, Namaste, So Many Ways, Ôm Project), as well as new compositions and covers inspired by pop and folk music, will take us on a journey through many lands, and without forcing our hand, will lead us through encounters and time zones.
Christophe Wallemme offers us an original formation by inviting the young singer Malou Hoeix, one of the lead singers of a major Brazilian project based on the music of composer/trumpeter Rubinho Antunes. In 2022, she was invited by the Charlier/Sourisse/Winsberg trio to take part in their double album "Le Monde à l'envers", and in 2023 she was invited to take part in the major Ukrainian project by composer/bassist Igor Zakus. A warm moment with one of Europe's greatest improvising pianists, Leonardo Montana (he has performed alongside Raul de Souza, Anne Paceo, Bill Mchenry, Geraldine Laurent, Michael Pipoquinha, Chico Freeman, Arnaud Dolmen, Christophe Panzani, Line Kruse and Sandro Zerafa at festivals and clubs around the world). His love of the voice has also led him to work with many vocalists, including Omara Portuondo, Agathe Iracema, Marianne Solivan, Charlotte Wassy, Anne Sila, Marcia Maria, Catia Werneck, Maria de Medeiros... in the company of the talented young drummer Jules Wallemme, who has been heard with Pierre Debethmann, Herman Racinto , Line Kruze, Manu Codjia....
