GASPARD MOGLIA NEW YORK 5TET

Conceived in 2025 in New York around the compositions of Gaspard Moglia, then a student at the Manhattan School of Music, this quintet brings together four musicians from diverse backgrounds: Matthew Fu, Brahm Sasner, David Hodgson and Gabriel Sauzay. Their encounter has given birth to music that is as demanding as it is inventive, fuelled by the creative energy of the city and the diversity of their inspirations.

Their universe is characterised by generous melody and meticulous attention to form. Their songs, both poetic and resolutely modern, leave plenty of room for exchange and spontaneity. On stage, their complicity transforms every note into a living material, where writing and improvisation intertwine with fluidity. The result?
