Discover the Baiser Salé

Talented artists have been performing every night for over 40 years in our club, an emblematic venue on the Paris jazz scene.

It was in March 1983 that the Gibson's Brothers invested 58 Rue des Lombards in the heart of Paris. These three successful Antillean brothers, musicians, and authors, among other things, of the worldwide hit "Cuba," decided to open Le Baiser Salé and turn it into a Café Concert where one could enjoy a drink while listening to a live band.

A few months later, there was a change in the format. The single group that played every night gave way to a weekly programming, quickly established by the current programmer Maria Rodriguez. These were the true beginnings of Le Baiser Salé Jazz Club...

The programming of Le Baiser Salé aims to develop creative mixed music and go beyond the framework of the traditional jazz club, starting from January '84.
